As the ultimate CrockPots Mama user I always include a good chili recipe when planning my families meals. There are so many options when preparing chili, I can drive myself crazy trying to decide what recipe I want to use for the week.

Option for chili can include chili con carne, white chicken chili, turkey chili or a good classic ground beef and red bean chili.

Preparing your family favorite chili in the crock pot can be easily and affordable. If your looking for a new favorite chili recipe then have I got the recipes for you.

Here are 4 of my all time favorite recipes for crock pot chili.

White Chicken Chili Crockpot Recipe

Cook Time: 8-10 hours low or 4-5 hours high - Serves 8

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 lbs boneless skinless chicken
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans great northern beans or navy beans
  • 1 (15 ounce) can hominy or white corn
  • 1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope taco seasoning
  • 1 (4 1/2 ounce) can of chopped green chilies
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • chopped green onion (optional)
  • monterey jack cheese (optional)

Directions:

  1. Place chicken in a 4 quart slow cooker.
  2. Top with beans and corn.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine taco seasoning, chilies, condensed soup, and chicken broth.
  4. Pour over top of ingredients in the crock pot.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
  6. Before serving, stir gently to break up chicken, then stir in the sour cream.
  7. Serve topped with green onions and jack cheese, if desired.

Crock Pot Chili With Turkey and Beans

Cook Time: 7 hours HIGH - Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (14oz) whole peeled tomatoes, drained
  • 2 cans (14oz) red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can (14oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can (12 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 lb cooked ground turkey
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped carrot
  • 3 tbsp chili powder
  • 4 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp ground red pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup Amaretto (optional)

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in the crock-pot, cover and cook on HIGH for 7 hours

Chorizo Crock Pot Chili

Cook Time - 7 hours on LOW - Makes 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb 90% lean ground beef
  • 8 oz. bulk raw chorizo or 1/2 package (15 oz.) raw chorizo
  • 1 can (16 oz) chili beans in chili sauce
  • 2 cans (14 1/2 oz each) zesty chili-style diced tomatoes, undrained

Directions:

  1. Place beef and chorizo in Rival CrockPot and break into small pieces with a fork.
  2. Stir in beans and tomatoes.
  3. Cook on low 7 hours.
  4. Skim off and discard excess fat before serving.
  5. Top with sour cream and shredded cheese if desired.

Best Ever Chili Recipe

Cook Time: 10-12 hours on LOW - Serves 8

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 lbs plum tomatoes diced
  • 2 cans (15 oz's each) kidney beans drained but liquid reserved
  • 1 can (15oz) tomato paste
  • 3 to 6 tbsp chili powder

Directions:

  1. Brown ground beef and onion, drain and transfer to crock pot.
  2. Add kidney beans, tomatoes, tomato paste, 1 cup of reserved liquid from kidney beans and chili powder to crock pot.
  3. Mix well, cover and cook on LOW 10 to 12 hours or until tomatoes have soften completely.
